The Four Seasons
in Bronze
I am so besotted with Antonio Vivaldi's, The Four Seasons music that I could not rest until I created an homage to his special music. I played my recording of The Four Seasons daily for months. The music became engrained in my soul. I did not use models for the faces, just listened to Vivaldi’s music as I worked on the images that came from my mind. The heads are at least three times larger than life. All the pieces are cast in bronze, two have a silver nitrate patina and two wear ferric nitrate.
Each unique piece, mounted on a silver colored wooden base, sells for $13,500
